Thank you for showing your support. I just read one today by Tutu Tutu. I think that's what their name was. So thank you. Thank you, Tutu Tutu Tutu, for your thoughtful words. And here you go, guys.
Trenton ReynoldsYesterday I revisited a, actually it was a book that I had not read or listened to, an audio book. Audible book by Seth Godin, who we've talked about before on, I think, in a previous episode of this podcast. But it just reminded me how much I love that guy. I think if there's one person that I've come across that is all like so completely encompasses all the angel voices in my head, I would have to say it's him. Like everything he says is just right on point with all the. all the thoughts and feelings and, you know, my kind of view of the world. So I wanted to give him a shout out because he's kind of like Brene Brown. Like I listen to him and it's not just, it's not just the ideas that he communicates. It's his presentation, his personality, the stories he chooses to tell, his kind of demeanor that I think is just wonderful. and I am really inspired listening to, to anything I've heard of his. So the, I don't think, yeah.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonWhat are you listening to with it?
Trenton ReynoldsI can't remember what we talked about before. I, we, we have talked about him before.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonThat's what I was going to say. I don't recall us talking about him for some reason. I don't, maybe we have, but I don't remember that name. I'm, and now I'm dying to, to get whatever you were listening to.
Trenton ReynoldsI might be saying his name wrong, but, uh, the one that I was listening to yesterday, um, which is not something that I've listened to before, but just as good as anything else I've listened to, is called Leap First. It's on audible.com. It's a short, I think it's a lecture or some kind of presentation you did to a small group. So Leap First by Seth Godin, and I don't know if I'm getting that pronunciation right, but it's G-O-D-I-N, Seth Godin. Oh, great. So check that out. Very, very, very inspired and just feel like, you know, the world's a good place to be after listening to what he has to say.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonHold on one second. My sink is dripping and it's driving me a little nuts. I just have to make that stop. Hold on. Speaking of sinks, I need to report in on the soup party.
Okay.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI missed the jump from sinks to party.
Trenton ReynoldsOh, because you...
Sabrina Ward HarrisonBecause the sink was... Right. So when I kind of jokingly talked about the sink being clogged on... What day did we record on? Friday, did we? Uh-huh. or Thursday, well, Friday. So I was like, yeah, that's crazy, you know, assuming, well, we'll get it fixed. And it turned into just, no, there's huge, huge problems. He's like, you might need, we might need to tear down a wall. What? Exactly, and so, yeah, I had was in, you know, I just made my plan of cleaning and organizing and like timed it down to you know, like hour by hour what I need to do because my friend Jesse was arriving from Chicago and I just and to get the dogs to the borders and anyway, and He stayed for hours and he couldn't fix it. And so one time I'm having people over for a soup party. It was fully just using the bathtub. Just did all the dishes in the bathtub. Sweet. and they were able to fix it on Monday morning. But it couldn't have been sweeter. It was just such a nice evening and so natural and just the right people and tone, and we laughed and no one really knew each other. and there's this really old 1985 Wisconsin trivia game called Escaped Wisconsin that I got at the thrift store, of course. It was just some really random trivia about Wisconsin and people that lived here and the history and some fun facts that we just... It was just such a reminder that just having people over to your home and gathering in person with people is just so important to do. And we're, as human beings, that's being in our element. That's what we do. And we don't do it enough. We don't do it enough. And it's... And the idea of doing it in your home, like it's inviting people into your shelter in warmth. And it was the first snow of the season, and it snowed like it was Narnia. It was just beautiful, powdered, billowing snow, and it covering all the trees. And so after we had soup and we played a game, we didn't really play a game. We just laughed and told the... guest trivia things. I said maybe we could just take a walk in the snow, and so we all bundled up and took a beautiful walk to the lake in the snow. It was so nice. It was just so nice. That sounds awesome. It was really great. A really good reminder to do that. and the soup was tasty. What soup did you end up making? I went with the coconut pumpkin butternut squash soup.
Trenton ReynoldsCoconut pumpkin butternut squash.
Sabrina Ward Harrisoncurry sort of no no really a little bit of curry um it was it was tasty jesse kind of helped i No, I actually am really good at flavoring, but I didn't want to take a risk. I kind of wing it, you know?
Right.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonAnd so I'm going to have these more often. I really am. Thank you. so that that sounds perfect it was perfect it was totally perfect
Trenton Reynoldswhat a great thing what's what a great thing for it sounds so cozy the soup and the snow and the yeah super cozy
Sabrina Ward Harrisonsuper cozy oh god 15 or 16 here ready to go and I've got 15 or 16 more to do today. And it's.
Trenton ReynoldsSo those 15 or 16 orders is the, is the process still to get a zip car and, and make a run to the post office or how does that work?
Sabrina Ward HarrisonOh, it's luckily the invention of being able to schedule pickups at your house. The post office, uh, is, incredible so you schedule it the night before so i told them i've got 16 packages ready to go today and so they're coming coming for free it's a free service um at the regular mail time to get them all i'm really grateful for that that's awesome yeah and then a little update on my passport. I was really determined to get and renew my passport and went through the whole thing, got it all done, certified, got it to my sister to be the guarantor, to put it on the back of the photo, proving this is a true likeness of me, blah, blah, blah, sent it, waited a month, got it back, and they didn't approve the photo because the ink smeared and you couldn't even read her signature on the back of the photo. So, yeah. Mm-hmm.
So...
Sabrina Ward HarrisonGot to redo the whole passport application and go and take the pictures again and certify, letter it, just do it all again. Do it all over again.
Trenton ReynoldsSo you got to get new pictures? This isn't something that you're able to just print out again? No.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI went to try to print out the application again and it's all... safety-wise, I guess, because such important documents you can't reprint out. Makes sense. But it's... Yeah. I just need to do it. I just need to do it. And I leave for California on Tuesday, and so I was saying to myself, don't... Just the sooner you take care of everything, the sooner you don't have to be stressing about it. That's all it is. Isn't it amazing? Just...
just do it.
Trenton ReynoldsProcrastination, man.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonOr you just talk yourself into thinking, well, there's a better time to be doing that than right now.
Trenton ReynoldsIt makes more sense to do it.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonIt makes more sense to do it tomorrow. So speak. Go ahead.
Trenton ReynoldsTell everybody why you're coming to California.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI'm coming, oh yeah, so I'm coming to California. It's going to be a kind of shock to the system. I haven't left Madison since I moved here. I'm coming for a special 70th birthday party for my dad in Santa Barbara on the 17th. And I have two days before I head up to Santa Barbara to visit. I'm going to have a trunk show in Pasadena at Krista Peitzman's and Tom Peitzman's house on Orange Grove. They are a fantastic couple who I did a big commission for them last year that people may have seen posted before. It's kind of stripes at the top, it's a large piece on wood with kind of photographic dark green imagery of their children at the bottom and it just was one of those, it went, the whole project went really well, I was really happy with it, they're really happy with it and they have this fantastic new space that they designed and had made in their home. Their home is the new space. And so I've never been and they were going to do a kind of little gathering there on the 14th from 4:30 to 7:30 and message me to find out the details. it's kind of a just winging it thing I'm not really publicizing it all that much it's a lot to kind of think about being extremely social
Trenton Reynoldsis that so that's something that you're kind of putting the word out for anybody that's interested can get in contact with you and ask for more information?
Sabrina Ward HarrisonYes. Yes. For the address. Because I don't want to post the address on Facebook. So we created a private group. So if you message me through Facebook, I will add you to the group. And feel free to pass it on to any friends and...
Trenton ReynoldsThis will be an opportunity to come and hang out with you for a little bit and will you be selling work or showing work? I will be selling work.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI have some G clays to sell and then I have some original work that ranges in price. So I'm bringing it with me. And will there be snacks? There will be snacks. There will be snacks. Snacks and beverages. Delicious. Krista's providing that stuff, which will probably be very nice. I know. I know. I do, too. I really... really do like snacks I had a come to Jesus moment where I'd work I had there'd been a gathering and there were all these cookies and fudge and I brought some home with me and I hadn't really had sugar in four or five months and I brought it home in this container I'm like don't do it I was like did I did and it's just been haunting me and I put it in the garbage three days ago, and I swear just knowing it's still there, and I'm like, just remove it from the house. Just step outside and remove it, because I thought I'm going to go and get it out of the garbage and eat it. I know it. I'm going to do it. There's a brownie in there. There's some good cookies. So just before the podcast today, I just walked the dog, and I'm like, ah, and took it to the garbage.
Trenton ReynoldsWay to go. That's some serious self-control and... knowing your limits and all of the good stuff. You just, that's awesome.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonIt's hard. But once you start having, like having a bit of sugar made me feel so tweaky and kind of like, it doesn't feel good in your system, but man, it sure makes you want to have more.
Yes.
Trenton ReynoldsI was thinking about that yesterday. Just how, how many opportunities throughout the day I have to, to eat food. sugar. Especially in this season where people are leaving cookies on the doorstep or whatever. So we had and my wife is the manager of the building so inevitably we get... We had this couple from Russia that dropped off these Russian chocolates and you're thinking, well, they're Russian chocolates. This is like a cultural... This is important. I need to experience the world. This is... It would be irresponsible of me not to try this.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonThat's so hilarious. That's so true.
Trenton ReynoldsAnd then she had, Laura watched somebody's cats put her away and she made us a plate full of fudge cookies, caramel, like all this stuff. And Laura is gluten intolerant and she's also trying not to eat sugar because she just recognizes that doesn't make her feel good. So there's this whole plate of stuff just sitting there. And I feel that it would be, you know, I don't want to be an ingrate. I want to show my gratitude. And, you know, next time we see her, we want to be able to say, oh, thank you so much for the cookies and everything. fantastic. So, you know, I just got to, I got to fill that role when something, it's the right thing to do. It's the right thing to do. So, so there are things like that all throughout yesterday. And then we still have some Halloween candy on top of the refrigerator. So I swear, like over the, over the course of the day yesterday, I must have, you know, had had at least five or six treat eating opportunities, which I did not turn down any one of them. I did not fight the good fight. So I have much respect for your ability to throw them away and then to take them out of the house.
Sabrina Ward Harrison- Yeah, yeah. We should mention there are gonna be shirts coming. Julia is working on the designs for them. I am very choosy about my wearing t-shirts. They have to be kind of a thin cotton. They can't be too crew neck. and we found, like, really wonderful, high-quality, fantastic T-shirts. And we're going to have them on the website. They should be up by next week for sure. And I've, you guys, I've done, what, T-shirts and... and underwear, really cute underwear, I have to say, years ago, that were a big hit. So we will have more things, but this is, for Ruin the Trees, we've got some really great stuff. So I'm excited. In the spirit of make what you most need to find, this is the shirt that I personally want to find, and hopefully...
You do too, Trent.
Trenton ReynoldsTotally looking forward to the t-shirt. I'm really excited about the design. I think it's really cool.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonAnd it plays on the idea of room in the trees. So it's like I wrote out "build" and it's like so "build" "room in the trees." "Find" is a key word. "Find" and then "room in the trees" and then...
make. Right.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonMake. And you have build a fort.
Trenton ReynoldsAre we going to do the build a fort? Build a fort.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonYeah, build a fort. So it's cool. I like it.
That is cool.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonThank you, Julia.
Yes.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonSo, we've always talked about wanting to do some quote, a kind of quote episode. And I put out a little thing on Facebook yesterday and we got over 150 fantastic quotes. So I said, what's your sort of go-to quote that maybe you have up on your wall in your studio that you turn to over the years or this year? or just today as kind of the quote that gets you through, that kind of lifts you up and carries you on. And I really love what people shared. And originally I thought I'd just pick one to talk about, but I really like maybe that we could just... share some today and we can share more.
Sure.
Trenton ReynoldsSo I have not... I thought I got through all of them yesterday and then you sent me a list today. So there are some that I don't even think that I've gotten to.
Yeah.
Trenton Reynoldsbut I am going to post all of these. Is that an okay thing to do? I'm going to post these to the website. So if you want to see all the quotes, all the quotes that people submitted, go to roominthetrees.com, and the show notes for this episode will have all the quotes.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonOh, there's some good ones. Okay, so I'll just read one I really love. Amanda Grace shared. It's by W.B. Yates, and it is, Hope and memory have one daughter, and her name is Art.
Okay. just
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI thought it made me just want to burst into tears it's so beautiful to me I think I feel personally that my work really wants to come from hope and memory she said she came across it as she was building my dwelling her studio in Sillago S-L-I-G-O which also happens to be next to his grave which is amazing so
Trenton Reynoldsthis one is from Tracy Jones Tracy Bolt Jones it's a Henry Ford quote whether you think you can or you think you can't you're right I like that
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI loved Rama Hughes great friend from Los Angeles I was trying to scroll through and try to find exactly what it was but I think it was don't be the best be the only yes that's good
Trenton ReynoldsSarah Dubow if I am not for myself who will be for me if I am only for myself what am I if not now when and that is by from Hillel the Elder.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonAmy Kareen shared this Clarissa Piccoli Estes quote, "'When we accept our own wild beauty, "'it is put into perspective, "'and we are no longer poignantly aware of it anymore, "'but neither would we forsake it or disclaim it either.'" Does a wolf know how beautiful she is when she sleeps? Does a feline know what beautiful shape she makes when she sits? Is a bird awed by the sound it hears when it snaps open its wings? Learning from them, we just act our own true way and do not draw back or hide our natural beauty like the creatures we just are and it is right. Another one I love is Margaret Moore shared, keep walking though there's no place to get to. Don't try to see through the distances. That's not for human beings. Move within, but don't move the way fear makes you move. today like every other day we wake up empty and frightened don't open the door to the study and begin reading take down a musical instrument let the beauty we love be what we do there are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground Cynthia Reynolds shared this dot John O'Donohue. At any time, you can ask yourself, at which threshold am I now standing? At this time in my life, what am I leaving? Where am I about to enter? What is preventing me from crossing my next threshold? What gift would enable me to do it?
Trenton ReynoldsWhat struck me about this is that first line, that at any time you can ask yourself this, and the suggestion that we're constantly, every moment we're presented with options, with pathways forward with opportunities to start something new and reflect on where we're coming from. And I don't know, I like that idea that there's, of the significance of each moment. Each moment we have freedom. We have freedom to choose. We have a story to tell, things to be excited about, opportunities to create. this felt like a very hopeful and kind of having a reverence for the freedom that we have in each moment. You know, the significance of being present.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonAnd that's by Donna Donahue. Mm-hmm. I heard this Chuck Close quote a week or so ago when I was watching something, and I was trying to find it again, and Eric Scott shared it yesterday. His inspiration is for amateurs, the rest of us, to show up and get to work. The last one I'll read is Kelly Walker shared, Once upon a time when women were birds, there was a simple understanding that to sing at dawn and to sing at dusk was to heal the world through joy. The birds still remember what we have forgotten, that the world is meant to be celebrated. By Tempest Williams. That totally made me want to cry.
Mm-hmm.
Sabrina Ward Harrison- So true. What about you, for you?
Trenton Reynolds- Melanie Price shared a Joseph Campbell quote, "We must let go of the life we have planned so as to accept the one that is waiting for us." That is a, I think a very powerful idea and one that is a struggle, I think. A constant, a constant struggle. And I think it's important to have plans, it's important to have ambitions, it's important to have a vision for your life and where you're headed. But we, I think this is something that we talk a lot about is also creating space, creating room. and this is something Seth Godin talks about as well, is being able to simultaneously live with that vision for the future, that plan of what you're doing and trying to accomplish, but also living with change, with the fact that we're constantly in flux and being able to... just have room for both of those ideas to exist, to be able to follow, adapt, let life guide you where it needs to, allow it to have its own, you know, its own path, its own story, while we are also trying to kind of guide it with our feelings and intuition and vision of the future. Yeah.
Sabrina Ward Harrisonit's like softening standing tall and strong but softening to sort of be like a tree and move with the the wind of the wind of change you can quote me on that one
Trenton ReynoldsI think that is a fantastic analogy and a very good image that's well said well said and there's a fantastic Scorpion song. Do you know the one I'm talking about? Yes, I do.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonOh, my God.
Trenton ReynoldsWhich just entered my mind when you were saying that. Oh.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonWe have to find that. Oh, that's hilarious. I feel like I have a visceral memory of listening to that in high school. Oh, my gosh. And... I remember in growing up, one of my first journal type things I had was I was going to camp, Camp Tanimakun in Canada, a summer camp, and people made these things called everything books, and it was just like a diary book like you'd get at a... little store it's like a five by nine seven by nine little book hardcover book and you just fill it with your favorite quotes and i really got i really got into it and kind of a cool full circle thing was yesterday on in the quotes there was um martha copesteak was was she was a camp She was at camp with me, and I mean that was so long ago, and she lives in Canada And she she quoted something. I just made me think of that and that's when that was when I Think of her. I mean haven't seen her in years and years, but that was
hmm
Sabrina Ward HarrisonAnyway, that's not that interesting to know about. Never mind.
Trenton ReynoldsYou reminded me. Can I tell you a little story? Yeah, yeah. Well, so a little while back, Liv made a drawing. And just recently, she's gotten really self-critical. And I don't know. I hope it's not something that we did or whatever, but she gets really, really intense about not doing things correctly. So she made a drawing that was kind of scribbly, and she just broke down into tears saying that it was horrible and she didn't do it right, and it just broke my heart. And my wife had said that it was scribble scrabble, like what Liv had just done. And I think that's what triggered her. And Laura wasn't meaning to say that that was bad. She was just kind of using a word to describe what Liv had just done. It was scribble scrabble. Anyway, so I was talking to Liv and saying how I love scribble scrabble and there are lots of artists that do scribble scrabble. I showed her a book of Cy Twombly drawings. - Oh yeah. - Anyway, so she does drawings on the way to school in the morning. She's got a little journal that we keep in the car. for her to do drawings because she was, uh, wanted to use my sketchbook and she was filling up my sketchbook. So I got her, uh, to avoid her going through my sketchbook, but she's been doing for the past three or four days. She's been filling one page a day with this scribble drawing, and then she makes a little loop and inside the loop, she puts a monster and she's got five, five little monsters now in this book that I love. to share with you. Anyway, so on the way to school, she's been doing this little scribble monster drawings.
Sabrina Ward Harrison- I think scribble scrabble. My dad always said scribble scrabble. To this day, he still calls my work scribble scrabble.
Trenton Reynolds- Is that right? I had never heard that term before. - Oh, it's a big one in my dad.
Yeah.
Trenton ReynoldsWhere does it come from?
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI don't know. I actually hadn't heard it except for my dad saying it, so I was surprised to hear. I wonder how Laura... It was such a thing my dad always said.
I didn't...
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI don't know the origin story of Scribble Scrapple, but I'm certainly going to look it up.
Yeah. Yeah.
Trenton ReynoldsOkay, another quote that kind of tickled me and felt appropriate. Corrine Stubson shared a quote by Roy Schneider from Jaws who said, we're going to need a bigger boat.
True that.
Trenton ReynoldsI have felt that sentiment many times over the past several months.
Okay.
Trenton ReynoldsWe are going to need a bigger boat.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonWhat's an example? What what kind of thing for you?
Trenton ReynoldsI think that's just life in general. It feels overwhelming. It feels like the challenges and problems that we face are just too big, you know, and there's this kind it feeling like, yeah, we're going to have to change our approach a little bit. We got to, we got to, you know, build things up. We got to strengthen the, I don't know, like, like my, my solutions feel inadequate a lot. So I'm being, I'm purposely being very vague. I don't know if I want to be too specific in my examples, but. it's just that feeling like,
Oh dear.
Trenton ReynoldsA little bit bigger, a shark than I, than I was expecting.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonOh, I know.
Trenton ReynoldsAnd then another one that's kind of simple and to the point, which I enjoyed was, uh, shared by Julie Herman, uh, It's a Winston Churchill quote. He says, when you're going through hell, keep going.
I like that.
Trenton ReynoldsDon't stop. Don't dwell in dark places. Keep on moving forward and eventually...
you'll pass through it.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI love Danielle Donaldson shared, promise me you will not spend so much time treading water and trying to keep your head above the waves that you forget, truly forget, how much you've always loved to swim. A Tyler Knott Gregson. Yeah, I like that one a lot too. Yeah. That's easy.
Trenton ReynoldsThat has a lot to do with stuff that we've talked about in the last several months of just-- like making artwork and trying to sell artwork, it's easy to get caught up in the stress of that, of just making money and making artwork to sell, and trying to figure out how to sell artwork that I can see that-- it would be easy just to forget that you actually just love making artwork.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonI feel at a place right now where I...
Not in a...
Sabrina Ward HarrisonNot... It's just in a kind of... calm and surrendering way I feel like I'm just raising my hands up and just be like it'll be interesting to see what happens because you know I feel I feel like I'm giving my all right now to my life but I don't exactly know what I'm doing that's how I feel I don't exactly... I don't feel like... And I feel okay with that. I guess in the bigger picture, I feel really... I think, again, a little bit like you're saying, it's like getting back, getting your core strength strong prepares you for what... I don't think I've put that first in my life before, to put the core of me to strengthen that physically and mentally.
Trenton ReynoldsI think there's a lot of peace to be had when you take the moment to acknowledge and recognize that you're... you are doing, you're doing everything you can. I don't know, this isn't something for the podcast maybe, but I feel like in, I start to feel like I'm not a very good dad or I'm not a very good husband or I'm not, you know in all these different relationships that I have and then you know something that I've learned over over the course of you know the past eight years as I've been married and had kids I need to stop every once in a while and realize that I am I'm giving everything I've got and and yes yes I could you know there's there are people that are better than than me at doing stuff and I could always improve, but there's a certain amount of security and calm that comes from realizing that you're hitting it as hard as you can. Accepting that, sitting with that, owning that. you know, not being anxious that you're not perfect, that you're not somebody else, you know. It's like, I don't know, there's a self-acceptance that is not defeatist, it's not giving up, it's just, you know, accepting that this is you and you're complete and you're doing all that you know
Sabrina Ward Harrisonhow to do. And it's using that energy versus the energy of anxiety that just, it's still, it's adrenaline, you know, it's adrenaline and you can use it either way. Like I really see how anxiety can just, I can use up all my energy to do, that I can be doing other things moving forward if I'm if I'm anxious and worried and you're comparing or it's hard like like I was thinking about Los Angeles and I kept wanting to call you and say I can't do it I just cannot do it I can't be on you know what I'm thinking I have to figure out how to navigate being on and with people publicly and not let it completely, all the energy that I put into preparing to do that, you know, like how to learn how to have ease in my public life, um, as a professional person.
Trenton Reynolds- This is a unique problem of our time, I think, or at least something that's really exaggerated in our time and that is when things are so accessible and so possible, we're so empowered to do so many things, that just because we can do something, we feel like we ought to do it. So just because you can, just because we can send out, put a post on Facebook saying that we're gonna be here at this time, like why not let 200 people show up or extend the invitation for everybody to show up and we're gonna, because we have the ability to record, we're gonna make a video, an audio, we're gonna post it. Like there's so many things that are available to us that are really, you know, relatively easy to do. Right. That there's a sense that we need to do everything. Right, right. So the challenge is that to acknowledge that we can't do everything. Like we have limits and, you know, that it's not a bad thing to say, all I've got mental and emotional energy for is to sit in the park with five people. you know that right right and that doesn't mean you're weak it doesn't mean you're not doing a good job at your being a businesswoman or you're you know promoting your brand or whatever whatever it is it just means you're a human being and you've got you need to set limitations to suit yourself and not to you know, fits everybody else's expectations of what, what's right. And I think that's such a hard thing to do. It is.
Sabrina Ward HarrisonIt is. And because it really comes to, I feel like it's an exercise, like it's a muscle you have to work on. Like I feel that if I,
I,
Sabrina Ward HarrisonIt's because it's all me. I can either be thinking about that and prepare. For example, I really, really want to see my friend Mariana. I haven't seen her in equally as long since maybe three or four years. And I'm dying to see her. And I want to have that kind of friend time. So to juggle, I guess juggling back-to-back things where say I'm seeing her before the trunk show. Like I don't want to be sitting with her stressing about the trunk show. I want to be really enjoying and eating fish tacos with her in Silver Lake and completely just laughing and talking about whatever. And then be able to go and be professional and have a good event and enjoy myself.
Yeah.
